Soft Landing is a new co-incubation service for innovation led companies who wish to explore new markets. The Soft Landing service is offered by EBN Business Innovation Centres (www.ebn.be) and other incubators at a selection of global locations. Members of the Soft Landing Club are certified first class business incubators of short term business support to visiting companies, with the aim to boost their international development, in which NORIBIC is a member.
The business support service packages offered will be tailored to match the needs of the company asking for support.
The duration of the service delivery could typically be from a few days to several weeks, and/or spread over a number of months, if international development for a company in a different region abroad is considered viable.
The services can be grouped into broadly 3 types, and a high level of adaptation and diversification of the service has to be considered as the needs of visiting companies can be very different.
Soft Landing Service Provision
- Access to hot desk and virtual office services which includes:
- Open plan shared office space
- Individual workstations
- IT Network / Broadband access
- Dedicated web application servers running Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Cold Fusion MX7, & Flash Communication Server, supported by a dedicated Database Server running SQL Server 2000.
- Hardware and Software support
- Availability of postal address and telephony services can be provided but this service will incur a fee.
Meetings:
- Pre-arranged meeting with incubation manager and/or business development manager.
- Boardroom and meeting facilities can be provided
- We can provide access to meetings with local and national business organisations, potential collaboration partners and research centres to explore strategic partnership opportunities that may lead to international business development.
Other Services offered on a bespoke basis:
- Market Research: Tailored market research and intelligence of the region to meet individual company needs.
- National Agencies: We can facilitate Introduction Meetings with National Agencies in NI and on a Cross Border basis.
- Experts: We can facilitate access to experts such as Innovation, legal issues, IP, Tax and Accountancy, HR and ICT.
- Other: specific services not listed can be considered on request.
