NORIBIC
NORIBIC, the Northern Ireland Business and Innovation Centre was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit EU BIC. We are the only dedicated business innovation support agency in Northern Ireland. We provide assistance to prospective entrepreneurs, micro-businesses and SMEs with the potential for growth, export and wealth creation in the knowledge-based sector.
NORIBIC has achieved the DG Enterprise Quality Award for EU BICs each year since its inception in 1992.
The European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) is a leading pan-European network bringing together 200+ Business & Innovation Centres (BICs), and similar organisations such as incubators, innovation and entrepreneurship centres across the enlarged Europe.
BICs are organisations which promote innovation and entrepreneurship.They help enterprises to innovate; they drive the creation of start-ups supporting innovation, incubation and internationalisation and they promote economic development through job creation and development.
We have assisted in the creation of over 400 companies during our lifetime and have worked with many hundreds more in provision of innovation support. NORIBIC has been instrumental in bringing a wide range of partners, from education to not-for profit to private sector, together to successfully deliver innovation support programmes and services.
